Beer and wine lovers unite in online community
Leading-edge myNSLC.com launched

Cactus Commerce has announced that Nova Scotia Liquor Corporation (NSLC) has officially launched its new website myNSLC.com. With 160 stores and more than a half billion dollars of sales annually, the NSLC wanted to create an online community that facilitated interaction amongst all stakeholders including customers, employees, suppliers, wholesalers, licensees, agency stores, and the public.

"We wanted to create a destination site, one that offered our customers the ability to share their excitement and appreciation of our products." stated Rick Perkins, Vice President, Communications, NSLC. "We were pleased to work with Cactus to develop a unique and leading-edge site in our industry in North America. They are a great partner."

MyNSLC.com is a hosted and managed Cactus CommerceLive solution. CommerceLive is a comprehensive B2C cross channel e-commerce solution that delivers pre-packaged advantages with customer-specific solution flexibility. The CommerceLive solution is built using Microsoft tools and technologies, including Microsoft Commerce Server 2009 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007.

"The CommerceLive solution empowers our business users to dynamically manage content to keep customers coming back for more. It is the perfect solution for us as a leading retailer," added Perkins.

"With its use of rich content and personalization, the NSLC is creating rich engaging experiences for its customers" explained Cactus Commerce CEO Tony Marinelli. "They understand the power of cross-channel commerce by leveraging the Internet to drive sales to physical locations. We look forward to working with them in the future to realize their vision. "
