UPTREND Media partners with Streetfire.net

Auto enthusiast hotspot reaches millions

UPTREND media, Canada’s leading online representation company, is increasingly impressed by the growing video library of user-generated clips available on its partners’ website, the Seattle-based Streetfire.net, an online community for auto enthusiasts.

Streetfire.net is an auto enthusiast hotspot, reaching over nine million people each month.  Videos and photos are primarily uploaded by users within a collaborative environment.  Content is also professionally produced in-house, including event coverage, news, reveals, project cars, and automotive lifestyle features.  Additionally, independent in-category experts – such as TorqueTV, Speed Channel and more – create and broadcast content through the vast Streetfire.net network to ensure high views.

“We are excited to list the automotive pros at Streetfire.net among our partners.   UPTREND media has been thrilled to bring Streetfire.net a more relevant online experience for their advertisers and users,” says Duke McKenzie, UPTREND media’s President. “Thanks to our network of advertising contacts, we can help Streetfire.net broaden its appeal to consumers, pinpointing the kind of auto-specific advertising content they like to see.”

Streetfire.net is part of the CarDomain company of sites. CarDomain operates the Web’s largest community for auto enthusiasts. CarDomain Network was founded in 1998 and is headquartered in Los Angeles, California. The company is privately held. The CarDomain.com community offers auto enthusiasts a friendly home, tools to exchange ideas and information, and suggestions on how to modify and enhance their vehicles. Through a variety of advertising and sponsorship opportunities, marketers reach a highly targeted, hard-to-reach young male audience.

“Our auto enthusiast audience knows the kind of content they like to see,” said Glenn Rogers, CEO of Streetfire.net.  “User generated content needs to be connected to user-specific advertising, and UPTREND media’s knowledge of the Canadian marketplace ensures us that we’ll benefit from their strong contacts and industry know-how.”
